OWS Foods got its roots as Old World Spices & Seasonings, a small-batch spice blend company pioneered by John Jungk in 1988. After early success and discovering a passion for innovation, we began to realize our true calling in food development, blending, manufacturing, co-packing, and distribution. Building on our commitment to turnkey service, we put together our very own Research and Development team, growing over the years to one of the most tenured and experienced group of food scientists and flavor experts in the world of custom manufacturing culinary innovation.
In 2008, we constructed our first manufacturing facility in Concordia, MO, which further heightened our ability to provide the best dry food manufacturing capabilities for our partners. In 2021, after joining with Shore Capital Partners, we acquired Head Country Bar-B-Q, a regional BBQ sauce brand and facility in Ponca City, OK, establishing our wet manufacturing capacity and forming the powerhouse combo of wet & dry food manufacturing solutions we offer today.
